Passhen Beauty Week : Japanese Cosplay Makeup Magic

Hello Gorgeous!
As promised in my previous post, here's a throwback to my experience on 'Japanese Cosplay Makeup Magic' workshop organized by Passhen.

This was my last workshop for Passhen and the experienced was SUPER AWESOME!

Japanese Cosplay Makeup Magic workshop was held @ The 3rd Space. It is located in the basement (beside Cold Storage) of China Square Central. This space is equipped with 5 multi-functional rooms that are perfectly suitable for gatherings, workshops, brainstorming or jamming sessions.

Upon arrival, I went into one of the rooms for the workshop, where I was greeted by rows of beautiful kimono inspired clothes/pouches/sashes by local designer Alice.K, and Motives cosmetics and cute hair pins provided by Mia Yeh Jung from My Makeup Artist.

Mia began the workshop by introducing herself to the attendees and explained the step by step Japanese Cosplay Makeup Magic application. Before the hands-on session, Mia advised us to imagine we're in Japan so that we can achieve the Japanese makeup look.

After that, the hands-on session began. We were guided through the process of makeup application. In this workshop, I've learned how to create a Japanese Cosplay makeup magic look. If you are wondering how to create the look, here are some steps that you can follow.

Use wipes to remove makeup.

Apply the mixture of foundation, serum and sunscreen in a 1 :1 :1 ratio with a sponge. Babes, you should try this method because it helps to create natural and flawless canvas.

Fill in eyebrows with brown eyebrow powder.

Apply brown shadow and gel liner on upper and lower lid.

Dust loose powder over the entire face to set makeup.

Lastly, apply brown mascara and pink lipstick to finish off the look.

Check out the before and after images below.
What do you babes think of my new look?

Wait it's not complete yet.
To complete the entire look, Mia helped to style my hair into a low bun with side swept fringe and she jazzed it up with 2 rose clips.

Each attendee put on their favorite kimono inspired top and then had their photos taken. So what do you babes think? Kawaii right? Ahem... say yes please.

The workshop ended successfully with a group photo. Passhen did an excellent job! All attendees were so happy with their new look. We really had a great time there!

Melissa Fann, the Founder and Director at Passhen, really did a great job!
Thank you Melissa for organizing this amazing workshop.
I really enjoyed myself at this workshop and look forward to your future workshops you have to offer.

Lots of Love

How to turn Old Curtains into a Tablecloth

I was out shopping and sashayed down the tablecloth aisle. A tablecloth that quite similar to my mom's old curtains caught my eye, so did the price $200.  Nah, I'm not going to fork out that kind of money just to get one tablecloth.  So I've got an idea!  I went back home and turned my mom's old curtains into a tablecloth.  I love how it turned out, so I wanted to share it with you.
